The Benevolents at Cranky Sam Public House

Friday, August 16 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, The Benevolents play under the evening sky on the Cranky Sam patio in downtown Missoula. It will be a beautiful August evening.
Based out of Missoula, The Benevolents are a dynamic rock band that enlivens audiences with soothing grooves and upbeat lyrics. The group plays the globally-influenced compositions of John Kratz, lead singer and guitarist, whose songs span a variety of musical styles including psychedelic rock, jam band, and folk rock. Michael Calucchia adds soulful backing vocals and a splash of keyboards and mandolin. Holding down the rhythm section are Daniel Kiely on drums and Ryan Stiles on the bass. The band has released two live albums, Live at Union Theater (2022) and Benevolents Live (2023).
