We are excited to invite you to the Trends & Traditions of the Plains Indigenous Film Fest & Fashion Show taking place on November 1 at the Wilma Theater in Missoula, Montana.
This inaugural event will be the first of its kind in Western Montana, celebrating Native American Heritage Month by highlighting the creativity and cultural contributions of Indigenous filmmakers and designers from across the region.
The evening will feature a series of film screenings, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers, offering a unique perspective on Indigenous storytelling and experiences. Attendees will then enjoy a community dinner showcasing traditional Indigenous foods with a modern twist, including bison as the featured dish.
The highlight of the night will be an Indigenous Fashion Show featuring designs by Montana-based designers such as Choke Cherry Creek, Devontéy Designs, and Plains Soul, along with a grand finale featuring Sky-Eagle Collection by Dante Biss-Grayson. The event will be hosted and emceed by Indigenous hip-hop artist FORESHADOW, who will also perform live.
