UM Theatre & Dance + School of Music performance of musical “Into the Woods”

Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Book by James Lapine
Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Tony Award-winning musical “Into the Woods” will have you on the edge of your seat as you follow the fairy tales you remember from your childhood. Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, Cinderella and more are woven into a tapestry full of delight, wonder, and poignant lessons for young and old alike. There really are giants in the sky – and getting your wish doesn’t always mean getting what you want.
Into the Woods is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
This production is presented as part of the curriculum of the UM School of Theatre and Dance; co-production with UM School of Music.
