Chill out to Live Jazz with Chuck Florence, David Horgan and Beth Lo at 6:00 pm Thursday at The Old Post in Downtown Missoula.
Meet up with TNR at 6:00 pm at Missoula’s Mount Jumbo Saddle Trailhead for a North Jumbo Thursday Night Mountain Bike Ride on the Sound of Music, Three Larch and Sidewinder trails.
Missoula’s own Meggie McDonald performs live on the murphy stage at Draught Works 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday.
Over in Deer Lodge, take in Chainsaw the Musical, a musical parody of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre at Cutler Bros. Theatre with performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 7:00 pm.

Western Montana’s farmers markets are in the home stretch for the fall harvest season. Missoula has three remaining Saturday markets, and with the rest of the area bustling with fresh local markets several days of the week and on the weekend. No matter what direction you wanna get outta town, you can’t go wrong. Lots of weekend activities and events are happening not only around Missoula, but all the way up the Flathead and the Bitterroot valleys, east to Phillipsburg and Anaconda, and out west past Alberton. If you’re headed up to Whitefish and Glacier, there are some outstanding pit stops to make along the way.
Get out & enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages – they need your business! Try a new local brew! Support our local artists and vendors at the area farmers markets. Take the family for a brisk outdoor hike. Get out on the mountain bike. Catch a classic movie screening or a stand-up comedy night.
