Saturday is the Griz vs Cats game at Washington-Grizzly Stadium with kickoff time at 1:00 pm. If you have a ticket, all we can say is “Luckyyyy…” – we envy you! The weekend is swirling with a ton of other events that are worth taking in as well.
The 16th Annual Montana Wine & Beer Festival is at the UM Adams Center from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday. It’s not quite Thanksgiving yet, but Christmas holiday events are already bursting through the floodgates. The UM’s annual Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet performance happens Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Dennison Theatre. On Friday and Saturday, there’s the Holly Jolly Artisan Craft Show at the Daly Mansion in Hamilton. The Missoula PaddleHeads will have Turkey Curling (!) in partnership with the Missoula Curling Club and the Missoula Food Bank at Glacier Ice Rink from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday. The annual Festival of Trees returns to the Ravalli County Fairgrounds in Hamilton this weekend from Saturday thru Monday. There are over 80 local music shows of one kind or another in the area throughout the weekend… we have options!
No matter what direction you wanna get outta town, you can’t go wrong. Lots of late fall weekend activities and events are happening not only around Missoula, but all the way up the Flathead and the Bitterroot valleys, east to Phillipsburg and Anaconda, and out west past Alberton. If you’re headed up to Whitefish and Glacier, there are some outstanding pit stops to make along the way.
Get out and enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages – they need your business! Try a new local brew! Support our local artists and vendors at the winter craft markets. Take the family for a crisp autumn hike. Catch a classic movie screening or a stand-up comedy night. Stretch that big brain at one of the local trivia nights. Sing your favorite karaoke song, or catch a live music show. Enjoy safely and responsibly.

“Consistency of performance is essential. You don’t have to be exceptional every week but as a minimum you need to be at a level that even on a bad day you get points on the board.”
