Montana Area Music Association Hosts Miles of Music
Community event to support Montana artists
MISSOULA, Montana (Sept. 2, 2022) – Montana Area Music Association (MAMA) is set to host their Miles of Music event for the third time. Miles of Music will be held at Missoula’s Milwaukee Trail near the Boone and Crockett Club on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event is open to all ages and is free to the public.
MAMA’s annual Miles of Music celebrates Montana’s music scene and provides pillars of support to artists and the community. Musicians are stationed along Missoula’s Milwaukee Trail for the community to enjoy. All are encouraged to stop by, listen to each artist, and connect, support, and advocate for up-and-coming musicians.

“We are so excited to bring this event back to the community and provide livable wages for Montana artists,” said MAMA’s Executive Director Maria Zepeda. “We know how challenging it is to be an artist, and we hope to help by providing some stability for them.”
MAMA’s mission connects and supports up and coming musicians through professional development and promotion while strengthening and engaging the greater Montana music community.
“We encourage Montana artists to stop by and network with us,” said Zepeda. “Our goal is to advocate for you, so if you are an artist that is looking for support, don’t be afraid to talk with us.”
