16th Annual Tweed Ride with Free Cycles Missoula

October 18, 2025 @ 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Are you looking for an excuse to don some wool, ride around on your old-timey bike, and enjoy a cuppa’? You’re in luck! Fall is upon on us and it is time to dust off your cruisers and join in one of Missoula’s most beloved community rides. The Tweed Ride is a leisurely family-friendly bike ride through town, in which ride participants are encouraged to wear tweed, wool, or other vintage attire. No charge for tickets, this ride is donation based…come join us! Donations support the operational costs of Free Cycles.
Here’s this year’s Tweed Ride Plan:
Meet at Free Cycles between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm.
Ride leaves from Free Cycles at 4:00 pm, goes on a 4-mile loop around town, and returns to Free Cycles for a family -friendly party from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with tea, treats, charcuterie, photos, best-of contest, socializing, soup, fire, music and games!

Free Cycles strongly believes in healthy transportation and healthy community. Our programs give all citizens the opportunity to access bicycles, actively use their hands, help others, and feel successful.
Proceeds from the Tweed Ride help support Free Cycles donation-based, educational, and environmentally conscious programs. Thank you!
ps: we still need some soup makers!
