4th Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration at The Confluence Center

November 1 @ 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Confluence Center is supporting its fourth annual Día de los Muertos Celebration, organized with Latine community members in downtown Missoula!
This special cultural celebration takes place on Sunday, November 1 at the Confluence Center, and in the alley behind Confluence, at 119 West Main Street, from 12:00 pm Noon to 8:00 pm.
The celebration will include Latin music, food and drink, as well as the traditional Ofrenda (altar) in the alleyway.
Inside the Confluence Center there will be face painting and activities for the whole family, as well as a themed art exhibit, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
All members of the community are welcome to bring memorabilia to be displayed on the Ofrenda, as long as it’s 5″ x 7″ or smaller. There will be a dropbox for memorabilia at the Confluence Center from October 26 through November 1.
The Ofrenda will also remain open to the public through Monday, November 2 for visitation.
More information about the event and the cultural significance of Dia de Los Muertos can be found at headwatersmt.org.
