4th Annual Goat Races at Highlander Beer in Missoula Sunday from Noon to 3:00 pm.

Highlander Beer is hosting our 4th Annual Goat Race!

You heard that right… GOAT RACE.

Join us Sunday, September 28th from 12pm-3pm to watch a bunch of goats race each other for the title of Highlander Goat Race Champion! Sure to be a day of laughter, frivolity, and of course, friendly competition!

Parade of Goats 1:30pm
Races begin at 2pm
Winner will be crowned at 3pm!

Tips for Highlander Goat Races 2025:

Carpool! There is limited parking. Please carpool or use rideshare services (uber, Lyft, etc.) to reduce traffic and overcrowding of lots.

Arrive early! Brewery opens at 12pm, meet the goats starting at 1pm, parade of goats starts at 1:30pm and race begins at 2pm!

Bring cash! Though credit cards are always welcome, we will have a cash only drink stand for the event to help reduce the lines.

Purchase a commemorative cup! We will have goat race glass steins available for purchase for $25 that come with 3 beers! You can fill these at any drink line (including cash) to reduce time waiting in line.

Food: pizza can only be ordered inside at our registers and must be picked up by the pizza kitchen. We will not be running orders out to you during this day. If the line is too long for pizza, check out Madeline’s Mediterranean by the pavilion for tasty Mediterranean food!

Have fun! Bring friends, drink some beer, and have a great time at this cooky event! Enjoy checking out the goats, but remember that these are animals and respect their space and their handlers!
