Annual Clark Fork River Cleanup at Caras Park

April 18 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Every spring, our community comes together for one simple goal: give the Clark Fork River a little love before spring runoff sends veritable tons of human-created trash and debris downstream.
The Clark Fork River Cleanup is a longstanding Missoula tradition that brings hundreds of people to the riverbanks—friends, families, coworkers, students, and neighbors—working side by side to pick up litter and care for the river that runs through the heart of our community.
Join us Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Caras Park in Downtown Missoula, beginning with a cleanup of Missoula’s Clark Fork River corridor (from Sha-Ron to Kelly Island), followed by a free brunch!

NEW: This year you can clean up the Clark Fork River and attend the IWFF WildWalk!

We’re excited to announce that this year we’ve partnered with the International Wildlife Film Festival to ensure that families will be able to participate in both our Annual Clark Fork River Cleanup and the IWFF WildWalk!
Our cleanup will get done at 11:00am and volunteers will be able to head over to the staging area at Caras Park (on the other side of Bear Tracks Bridge) for the WildWalk to get ready, with the parade starting at 11:30 am. Click below to learn more and get your WILD on!
