Ever wonder about that “Whole Being Dead Thing?” The wildly popular Broadway show Beetlejuice, adapted from the Tim Burton film, is coming to give MCT audiences a case of the giggles and the heebie jeebies. This macabre comedy tells the story of the eccentric Lydia, a teen grieving for her mom, and the newbie ghost couple she befriends. But there’s another spectre in the house, and this one isn’t so nice. Beetlejuice is a mean, green, fright machine who causes trouble wherever he goes. When Lydia makes a deal with Beetlejuice to haunt the house, Beetlejuice unleashes ghoulish chaos! Beetlejuice, which was nominated for eight Tony Awards, has now been adapted for the younger audience that made it a hit for its cutting wit and emotional honesty. So be sure to “Jump in the (ticket) Line” and come see the Junior version of Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice… phew, close one.
