Bolts & Bicycles, Forever Home in Missoula: Home ReSource & Free Cycles Dual-Benefit Concert

January 24 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Doors @ 6:00 pm
Bolts & Bicycles, Forever Home in Missoula: Home ReSource & Free Cycles Celebrate Community with Dual-Benefit Concert – Two of Missoula’s most beloved nonprofits are coming together to celebrate the community spirit that has sustained them for decades. Home ReSource and Free Cycles will host a concert on Saturday, January 24, at Free Cycles, featuring live music from The Pettifoggers and The River Ramblers. Proceeds from the event will be split between the two organizations.
Through hands-on education and community-powered reuse, both nonprofits empower people to repair, rebuild, and pass materials along so someone else can benefit. Both organizations are working to retire property debt so more resources can be directed toward people, programs, and local impact rather than interest payments. This event a celebration of progress, partnership, and what is possible when Missoula invests in the nonprofits it loves.
“This event is about celebrating what makes Missoula special,” said Kelli Hess, Executive Director of Home ReSource. “When neighbors come together to support organizations they love, we create lasting impact and ensure these community spaces thrive for generations to come.”
“Owning our building and land, debt-free, will guarantee that we can stay where we are and continue serving our community,” shared Bob Giordano, Executive Director of Free Cycles. By securing their homes, Home ReSource and Free Cycles will strengthen their ability to remain accessible, resilient, and deeply rooted in Missoula, ensuring future support goes further in the service of a healthier, more connected community.
The River Ramblers, a bluegrass band formed at the University of Montana, keep timeless classics alive while weaving contemporary themes into their sound.
The Pettifoggers, who proudly describe themselves as “garden slugs, outlaws, and musicians,” have deep ties to Home ReSource, with two band members having served on the organization’s board of directors. In addition to live music, attendees can expect DIY merch, food, drinks and more, all offered as part of a donation-based event designed to be welcoming, accessible, and reflective of Missoula’s creative, community-centered spirit.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, Pettifoggers at 7:00 pm, River Ramblers at 8:30 pm to 9:45 pm.
Donation-based, everyone is welcome!
