Event Series (See All)

May 1 @ 7:30 pm 9:30 pm

“Dance Underground” is a uniquely intimate production that provides a platform for choreographers to experiment with the creative process. Student and faculty choreographers use movement as a vehicle to research diverse themes.

This production, two weekends with multiple lineups of different new works, promises to be distinctive and exciting.

Plan to come to more than one performance for a sampling of novel dance perspectives!

Program I, April 23-25, performs three times and will feature works created by students who have completed the UM Dance Program’s foundational choreography coursework.

The programs seen April 30-May 2 will each be unique evenings of dance including works from brand-new chorographers and works presented as technique-course showings.

This production is presented as part of the curriculum of the School of Theatre and Dance.

The University of Montana is committed to creating inclusive, accessible events.
