Fall Harvest Festival at Historical Museum Fort Missoula
The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is excited to celebrate autumn with our Fall Harvest Festival! The event will take place on Sunday, October 1st from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. This family-friendly event has something for everyone, from apple cider pressing to fall crafts and games to live animals. • Try your hand at cider making with our old-fashioned apple press • Visit the Hayes Homestead Cabin to learn how early settlers prepared for winter • Tour our historic buildings, including the Sliderock Lookout and the Grant Creek Schoolhouse • Steam powered sawmill demonstrations • Tables and activities for local non-profits and organizations • Enjoy lunch at a Local Food Truck • Fall themed crafts, activities, and fun for all!
The event is admission by donation!
The museum is grateful to Your Home Improvement Company for sponsoring this wonderful event!
Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
When you share our articles, you become part of a force for good in and around Missoula.
