Film Screening: Covenant of the Salmon People at UM University Center Theater
November 2 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
The Nez Perce Tribe and American Rivers are hosting a free film screening of Covenant of the Salmon People and discussion with tribal leaders on November 2 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the University Center Theater at the University of Montana campus in Missoula. The Nez Perce Tribe is facing the extinction of salmon despite decades of recovery efforts. The only option left for the Tribe to uphold their ancient promise to speak on behalf of salmon is to breach the four dams on the lower Snake River.
