First Friday at Bernice’s Bakery

Bernice’s Bakery will be showing a collection of signed, limited edition prints from several artists representing Montana’s Race to the Sky, the greatest long distance sled race in Montana. Race to the Sky, an Iditarod qualifying event, has been a Montana tradition held every February since 1986, and is organized by Montana Sled Dog, Inc., a 501 © (3) non-profit organization, committed to preserving the traditional and historic use of sled dogs and the World War Two Camp Rimini War Dog Reception and Training Center. The framed prints displayed depict both sled dogs and mushers in Montana, all but two having been done by local Montana artists, to commemorate and preserve this decades long race. Come by Bernice’s Bakery this Friday to meet with Montana Sled Dog Inc board members, experience these creations and enjoy some light refreshments. There will be unframed versions of these prints available for purchase, as well as
various themed apparel.
