First Friday w/ Alpine Line Art at Engel & Volkers
Meet artist Christina Rice of Alpine Line Art at Engel & Volkers Western Frontier during First Friday to see her original black and white adventure art drawings on canvas, prints, cards, stickers and more!
Christina’s work explores our human connection with the natural world and explores our deep compulsion to explore and experience natural places through a variety of lived experiences, such as skiing, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, fishing, etc. The title of her business, Alpine Line Art, refers both to the fleeting lines we leave on a landscape by engaging in these activities and to the lasting lines the landscape leaves on our internal experience. It represents the connection between the individual and their environment. The ultimate goal of her work is to explore the serene peace and unbridled joy that a life lived in nature can provide.
Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
When you share our articles, you become part of a force for good in and around Missoula.
