Flint Creek Valley Days weekend in Philipsburg

July 24 @ 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
A celebration of the mining, timber and ranching heritage in our area, the Flint Creek Valley Days Parade is believed to have started as a modest parade from the local sawmill to downtown Philipsburg more than 70 years ago.
Today, the event brings thousands of tourists and Granite County natives back to Philipsburg each July.
The three-day event features the Flint Creek Valley Days Parade on Saturday, July 25 at 12:00 pm Noon – but now also includes a Friday evening Kids’ Parade down Broadway at 6:00 pm, a Philipsburg Rotary Pancake Breakfast at the local high school from 8:00 am to 10:30 am, numerous class reunions, softball and horseshoe tournaments, a Kids’ Carnival at 4:00 pm at Winninghoff Park, and a Saturday night street dance with live music by the Trent Brooks Band from 9:00 pm to Midnight, before wrapping up with the Flint Creek Valley Days Classic Car Show from 12:00 pm Noon to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Schedule Highlights:
Friday: Children’s parade in the evening starting at 6:00 pm with the theme “Movie Magic”.
Saturday: The main Flint Creek Valley Days Parade begins at 12:00 pm Noon, 2:00 pm Cornhole Tournament at Winninghoff Park, followed by a street dance with live music from the Trent Brooks Band from 9:00 pm to Midnight.
