Golden Larch Camp Hike with Montana Dirt Girls

October 27 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Larch Camp trails are lined with hundreds of Larch Trees doing their best to show off before winter. There are many looping trails off Larch Camp Road we can explore. Let’s do it!
Sample Map of Route
This shows a 3-mile loop with about 330’ elevation gain.
Not a big hike but it should be beautiful. We can always do more.
Items to Bring:
Water, snacks, headlamp, bear spray, layers, grippers if there’s snow
General Stuff:
*Try to get the group started soon after 6:00 pm
* Do intros, ask if we have any new folks and get a head count
* Break into groups if needed & find someone to coordinate each group
* You don’t have to be the fastest in the group to lead but just make sure we don’t leave someone behind
* Have fun!
Notes:
Hike: Geared to an intermediate level of exertion. we gather up at each turn in the trail to keep us headed in the right direction. The only time we will spread out will be on out and back trails.
Well-behaved dogs can attend but check the regs for the trails first
