Formerly known as the Parade of Lights, Holidays on Higgins will occur for the 21st year in Downtown Missoula! Join us for a day of holiday cheer featuring an array of children’s activities including a visit from Santa at the library from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm (must be in line by 2:30 pm; Santa has to check on his reindeer at 3:00 pm sharp!)
Highlights include cookie decorating, an ornament workshop, clothing decorating, letters to Santa, carousel rides, and making your own tea blend all available at various times. There’s something for everyone!
Like last year, stationary floats will line Higgins, the Missoula Makers Collective Market will be in full swing – both from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm – with the highlight of the evening being the iconic tree lighting at the XXXX’s at 6:00 pm.
Our Mission:The Missoula Underground is a hyper-local blog about the best the Missoula area has to offer: food/beverages, music, events, activities, local people and business.
Hyper-local means we don’t write about anything that isn't owned or locally managed or operated in the Missoula area. No corporate chains or businesses operated by investment groups from out of Montana.
We have a growing all-volunteer team of bloggers and contributors. We’re here because we care about our beloved Missoula area and want to showcase the best of what's here and what we love to do.
When you share our articles, you become part of a force for good in and around Missoula.
