Hot Club Jazz by Elephant Gerald at The Underground / Leaf + Quiet

Attention Missoula! Coming this Saturday – for the first time since The ZACC relocated from the Northside – the basement space in the Leaf + Quiet building, now called The Underground, is reopening for social gatherings, art markets, live music and more!

We are excited to kick-off the reopening of this nostalgic space in an historic railroad building located at 235 North 1st Street West with The Jive – a hot club jazz band from Missoula.

Hot Club Jazz, also known as Gypsy Jazz or jazz manouche, is a vibrant style of swing jazz originating in 1930’s Paris, popularized by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli of the Quintette du Hot Club de France.
