Mount Jumbo Saddle with Montana Dirt Girls — *Meet up with **Montana Dirt Girls** at 6:00 pm Tuesday at Missoula’s **Lincoln Hills Trailhead** for a **Hike or Bike** around **Mount Jumbo Saddle** and possibly on to Sidewinder Trail*

Mount Jumbo Saddle Hike or Bike

We can hike or bike the North loop around Jumbo Saddle (3-3.5 mi), and continue on to Sidewinder (~3 mi) if anyone is up for a longer hike.

Please bring a good light if you have one and want to ride longer. Possibilities for riding back to town with a light too, then shuttling back to get the cars.

Sunset is at 6:56 pm, civil twilight is at 7:26 pm (when you really need a light).
It’s a good idea to have a light with you this time of year.

General Stuff:
*Try to get the group started soon after 6:00 pm
* Do intros, ask if we have any new folks, and get a head count
* Break into groups if needed & find someone to coordinate each group
* You don’t have to be the fastest in the group to lead, but just make sure we don’t leave someone behind
* Have fun!

eBikes are not permitted on most of the trails we ride, so plan accordingly.

Hike: Geared to an intermediate level of exertion. we gather up at each turn in the trail to keep us headed in the right direction. The only time we will spread out will be on out and back trails. Well-behaved dogs can attend but check the regs for the trails first.

Mtn Bike: Rides are also geared to intermediate level of exertion and ability. Beginners are welcome. If you are not sure if it’s right for you just come and check it out. You can ride with us for the first few miles then return to the start.
