Outerwaves 6: Forrest Friends + Till the Teeth + Panic Boner at the ZACC

Forrest Friends are two individuals, Chad Allen & Garrison Heck, creeping between the cracks of Seattle for over 15 years, with a couple releases put out through Chocolate Monk (UK), among plenty of others. Improvised creep-scapes, freak sounds, a floor full of instruments, a sky full of fur.
Panic Boner Unsemble is a free music group based out of Missoula. They’re known to be unconventional with their sound making and uncompromisingly abstract in nature and performance. They incorporate elements of free jazz, noise, and no wave and all their gigs are totally improvised. A quick taste of their vibe would be like John Zorn meets Grateful Dead and you’re getting close.
Till the Teeth is an experimental music project based out of Seattle, WA. They utilize progressive electronics, and a vast array of percussion and live looping. Sandesh Nagaraj and Jonathan Rodriguez perform live together creating an overstimulating sound collage spanning over many different genres and influences. Till The Teeth is known to be an amalgamation of musical and non-musical experiences. Expect minds to be blown.
The opening reading, hosted by poet Casper Lee, will feature some of the most excellent writers residing in Missoula. The lineup includes Brian Blanchfield (Not Even Then, A Several World, and Proxies: Essays Near Knowing), John Myers (Smudgy and Lossy) and Alyssandra Tobin (Put Eyes on Me Not Like a Curse) as well as screenwriter/filmmaker Max Kubisiak all sharing recent work.
All tickets are general admission. Artist Supporter Tickets are a way for patrons to provide more financial support to performers.
