Pattee Canyon Loops with Montana Dirt Girls

September 1 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Pattee Canyon Loops
September already? It’s probably one of our last warm days so lets stay cool and ride or hike a few loops in Pattee Canyon. The Sam Braxton trail is a good start, then if we are ready for more we can head across the road and hit some of the sweet single track there.
The Sam Braxton trail is a good place to start. The trail is only 3.4 miles but there are several inner loops to add a few miles. The main loop climbs 484 feet. Then, if we are ready for more, we can head across the road and hit some of the sweet single track there.
Items to bring:
Extra bike tube & repair kit if biking
Water
Snacks
Headlamp
Bear spray
Layers
General stuff
Try to get the group started soon after 6:00 pm.
Do intros, ask if we have any new folks and get a head count.
Break into groups if needed & find someone to coordinate each group
You don’t have to be the fastest in the group to lead but just make sure we don’t leave someone behind
Have fun!
Ebikes are not permitted on most of the trails we ride, so plan accordingly.
Notes
Hike: Geared to an intermediate level of exertion. we gather up at each turn in the trail to keep us headed in the right direction. The only time we will spread out will be on out and back trails.
Mtn Bike: Rides are also geared to intermediate lavel of exertion and ability. Beginners are welcome. If you are not sure if it’s right for you just come and check it out. You can ride with us for the first few miles then return to the start.
