About Saint of Soldiers

Saint of Soldiers is a Montana-based band weaving roots Americana, bluegrass, folk, and indie into a haunting yet angelic sound deeply shaped by their home state’s culture and history. Named in honor of St. Ignatius, they pay tribute to Montana’s heritage through performances at historic venues and collaborations with local businesses and nonprofits. Guided by a commitment to storytelling, education, and the preservation of Montana’s legacy, their music transcends genre boundaries while remaining rooted in place and tradition.

They have shared stages with touring acts including The Droptines, Hannah Juanita & Mose Wilson, Dakota Poorman, The Damn Quails, Ronnie and the Redwoods, The Spine Stealers, and Ross Thorn, earning a strong presence in the regional music scene. Each performance bridges past and present—honoring traditions while carrying them forward—whether in an intimate setting or on a festival stage. Their songs embody resilience, heritage, and the untamed spirit of the Northern Rockies, delivered with a sincerity that positions them as cultural ambassadors as much as musicians.

In 2025, Saint of Soldiers was added to the official artist list and is sponsored by Rattlesnake Cable Company. In addition, they have been selected as one of twelve showcase artists for the annual Montana Performing Arts Consortium. They are also partnering with award-winning filmmakers Jordan and Logan Lefler on their upcoming Montana PBS documentary Journey to the Sun (Spring 2026), for which the band composed the original score.
