Draught Works Presents the Roxy Theater Screenings of Saving for the Day. A feature-length, family-friendly, Made in Montana movie with action, adventure, romance and wonder.
Joe Bell (Andy Shirtliff) is an average everyday man who watches life go by as he saves for the day when his real life will begin. He is given a chest filled with treasure by a cryptic, old wise man. But to open it, Joe must go on the adventure of a lifetime. He is joined in his quest by Abbey (Lindsey Zachariasen) a driven and savvy archeologist whom he sees as the key to opening the treasure, but does he pursue her for love or for the treasure?
Saving for the Day is an ambitious Made in Montana multi-genre film unlike any action-adventure you’ve ever seen. Over 400 Montanans worked on this grassroots project of passion for 12 years; some have gone on to work on the highly successful Yellowstone series and star in major motion pictures.
This highly entertaining micro-budget epic is a love letter to Missoula with nods to movies we all loved as kids.

Weeklong Screening & Activities Schedule:
Friday, May 19 @ 7:15 pm – “The Hip Strip Premiere” presented by Draught Works.
7:00 pm to 9:00 Screening at The Roxy.
There will be a Q&A following the film and a casual after-party downtown.
Saturday, May 20 @ 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Screening at The Roxy.
Sunday, May 21 @ 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Kids & Family Matinee Screening with ice cream after-party near the Roxy. Cast & Crew will be attendance for the after-party.
Monda, May 22 @ 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Screening at The Roxy.
Tuesday May MAY 23 @ 5:00 pm-ish – Pre-party at Draught Works with the Cast & Crew then screening at The Roxy at 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Wednesday, May 24 @ 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – Screening @ The Roxy.
Thursday, May 25 @ MAY 25th 7:00pm to 9:00 pm – Final screening of the week at The Roxy with an after-party nearby.
