Missoula’s favorite annual Spontaneous Construction (“SponCon”) contest at Home ReSource on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

What will you build?!

SponCon is Home ReSource’s annual celebration of reuse! 

Compete in the SponCon 7-hour building competition!
Teams have 7 hours to build the most masterful, functional, creative piece (or pieces!) they can dream of, using only materials found Home ReSource’s ReUse Store! Teams can be made up of 1 – 6 folks, are provided space to build, access to power, and use of a cutting station.

Team types and registration costs:  

POWER TOOLS TEAM
$150 per team (6 people MAX)
18×12 ft work space
Access to 110v power

HAND TOOLS TEAM
$75 per team (6 people MAX)
9×12 ft work space
Access to battery charging station

When you register, look for a confirmation email including more information about the event.

Registration open until filled. 

SPONCON SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

7:00 am – Power Team Load-In
8:00 am – Hand Tool  Load-In
9:00 am – Building contest begins
12:00 pm / Noon – Free Family activities begin
4:00 pm – Tools Down
