St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & The Shamrockers live with Mineral County Rec Club at Old School in Superior

Join the Mineral County Rec Club in Superior on March 17th for the 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party fundraiser.

Fun Run begins at 2:00 pm, food is served starting at 4:30 pm, The Montana Shamrockers will play from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, festivities endin at 8:00 pm. There will be fun things to do for the whole family.

$15 for an Individual
$30 for a Family
Includes: Entrance, Food, Activities, Music, and Sweet Treats

Leprechaun Trap –
Ages 0-12 are invited to build a clever design to try and capture a leprechaun the night before St. Patrick’s Day. You and your child can drop off your trap on Saturday the 16th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the back steps of the Old School. Come back on Sunday the 17th starting at 2:00 pm, to see if your trap was successful. There is a good chance some shenanigans will have happened. (Let us know if you are from an outlying area, and we can try to help get the trap to the Old School in time).

Fun Run –
Starting at 2:00 pm on Sunday the 17th, we will have a Run for the Fun of It through town. (approximately 3k). You must register at https://www.mcrecclub.org/fun-run or show up at 1:30 pm to register before the event. You will be given the course map before the race. We are asking for a $5 donation to the Rec Club for this event. Participants 21+ will get a free beverage from the beer garden. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available for those under the age of 21 or prefer.

Beer Garden – 21+
Opens at 2:00 pm and closes at 8:00 pm

Corned Beef, Cabbage, and more –
Food will be served starting at 4:30 pm and will continue until 7:30 pm. Dinner will be served at River Side Soups and Sandz. Smoke Master Carl Nordberg and his assistant Kurtis Robertson will be perfectly smoking the Corned Beef Roasts all day.

Live Music
The Montana Shamrockers will start at 5:30 pm over at the old Rockin’ Rodeo Saloon. They have been playing together for 20 years. They have even toured Ireland, playing their classic Irish tunes. We will also have some other music surprises throughout the event.

Since people may have to leave before the end of the celebration, you don’t need to be present to win.

We are still looking for additional donations for the raffle.
