Tell Us Something “Close to the Edge” at UM Dennison Theatre

Tell Us Something brings live storytelling back to The George & Jane Dennison Theatre on the University of Montana campus in Missoula.

Eight storytellers will share their true personal stories without notes on the theme “Close to the Edge”.

We are excited to be again partnering with Spark! Arts to provide on-site childcare for humans with kiddos. 3 teaching artists provide engaging art-based learning activities at The Dennison while you enjoy storytelling for the evening. This service is available for kiddos aged 4+.

We believe everyone deserves access to art education. That’s why we offer a “pay what you can afford” option.

Choose the amount that feels right for you. We understand that everyone has different financial circumstances. We just want you to be part of this experience!

We have set the default amount to $5/child. If you choose to pay more, you can do so by entering your desired donation amount at checkout.

Students and low-income individuals: Pay what you comfortably can
Standard rate supporters: Contribute $15
Generous givers: Pay anything above the suggested amount to help us reach even more youth and expand our impact.

Tell Us Something awakens imagination, empowers storytellers, and connects the Missoula community through the transformative power of personal storytelling. It celebrates each other, our stories, and how we move through the world together.

*Tell Us Something welcomes all ages, however, parents, please be advised that stories sometimes have adult themes and storytellers sometimes use adult language.

Venue Rules:
-Carrying or possessing weapons, firearms, or explosives on the premises is prohibited

-No heckling

Seating is general admission and first come first served. Have a look at the seating map so that you can plan your experience.

Pack it in, pack it out. Please do not leave trash at the event site.
