Women Bike Missoula – 9 Mile Ranger Station Loop Ride

Meet up with Women Bike Missoula at 5:30 pm Wednesday, July 8 at the Bluebird Preserve Trailhead by Grant Greek Road to carpool out to the 9 Mile Ranger Station in Huson for a 10-mile loop ride

July 8 @ 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

This ride begins a few miles west of town so we will carpool to the start.  The ride is about 10 miles with a start & stop at the famous 9 Mile Ranger Station, where pack mules are still kept and trained.  It’s mostly paved with ~1 mile of hard pack dirt and two uphill stretches and very little vehicle traffic.  We’ll head out on Remount Road to Ninemile Road, then loop back up to the Ranger Station. Bring a picnic dinner to dine out at the end.

All levels of riders and bikes, including e-bikes, are welcome.  As always, helmets are strongly suggested and it’s good to have tools and an extra innertube just in case.
