Women Bike Missoula – Florence Fall Flow and Flower Ride

EVENT: Florence Ride
MEET/LEAVE: 5:30 near the corner of Blue Mountain Road and Buckhouse Lane near The Peak.  Park on Buckhouse Lane and the group will carpool to Florence. Click here for map.

Enjoy a beautiful 10-mile ride in the Florence area on peaceful backroads and trails with a stop at the Big Sky Lavender Farm and Chief Looking Glass fishing access for a little yoga stretch. Our member Peg secured access to a section of private land which allows us to make this amazing loop with views of the Sapphire Mountains.

Route: The ride begins and ends at the Backyard Taphouse in Florence. We’ll travel briefly through private land with permission. There will be some dirt single track trail (<½ mi) near the Chief Looking Glass area and a short stretch of gravel road. We’ll loop back going under Highway 93 and travel south on the paved bike path that runs parallel to the highway, back to the Taphouse.

Wider tires are preferred for the single track section but if you are comfortable with riding dirt, skinnier tires can do this section. E-bike friendly.
