Summer Farmers Market Season Returns to Western Montana

Dozens of Active Markets to Choose From; Season Opens May 6th
With a return to spring and summer on the way, Western Montana’s farmers markets are getting ready for the new season. All the Missoula markets and a few others open on May 6, and the rest will be opening over the following several weeks.
Expect to see capacity numbers of vendors, and large enthusiastic crowds more than pleased to be able to purchase locally grown and made produce and goods. In all, we’ve found over two dozen weekly summer markets from Missoula, and all the up the Bitterroot and Flathead valleys, along with Philipsburg, Anaconda, Alberton and a few more nearby.
While many markets happen on the weekends, there are notable exceptions making weekdays and weeknights an option as well. Use The MUG’s guide below; take advantage of the convenient social media links and website links for planning your summer market visits.
