The Ravalli County Fair & Rockin’ RC Rodeo is happening nightly this week thru Saturday at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds in Hamilton.
The Joan Zen Band is the featured live music the final episode of the summer season at Downtown Tonight in Missoula’s Caras Park from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday.
Logjam Presents welcomes KALEO for a live performance on their Payback Tour 2024 with Chance Peña at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner at 8:00 pm Thursday. Lindsey Stirling comes in for a live concert performance on the Duality Tour with special guest Saint Motel at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner at 7:00 pm Friday.
Labor Day weekend brings the Camp Horror Film Festival to The Roxy Theater on Missoula’s Hip Strip with trashy B-horror films & shorts showing Thursday thru Sunday.
The Bigfork Summer Playhouse hosts performances of “Rock ‘n Roll – The Hits” all weekend (Thursday thru Sunday), nightly from 7:30 pm to 9:45 pm.
Enjoy an evening of reimagined jazzy pop hits with the Vintage Pop Second Story Band at 101 Central in Whitefish at 8:00 pm Thursday.

The final summer Bigfork Monday Market happens from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Labor Day in Downtown Bigfork at Lake Baked / River View Bar. While you’re there, Bo DePeña brings his country-blues band up from Texas to perform at the River View Bar from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
There are at least 70 local music shows of one kind or another in the area throughout the Labor Day weekend – we have options!
No matter what direction you wanna get outta town, you can’t go wrong. Lots of Labor Day weekend activities and events are happening not only around Missoula, but all the way up the Flathead and the Bitterroot valleys, east to Phillipsburg and Anaconda, and out west past Alberton. If you’re headed up to Whitefish and Glacier, there are some outstanding pit stops to make along the way.
Get out & enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages – they need your business! Try a new local brew! Support our local artists and vendors at the area farmers markets. Take the family for a summertime hike. Get out on the mountain bike. Catch a classic movie screening or a stand-up comedy night.
