Pearl Jam performs with special guest Glen Hansard on the Dark Matter World Tour at Washington-Grizzly Stadium 7:00 pm Thursday. Limited tickets are still available via GrizTix.
The Dead & Down is the featured live music at Downtown Tonight in Missoula’s Caras Park from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday.
Logjam Presents welcomes back Khruangbin on their A La Sala Tour with Peter Cat Recording Co for a second night’s performance at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner on Thursday.
The Bigfork Summer Playhouse hosts performances of “Rock ‘n Roll – The Hits” all weekend (Thursday thru Sunday), nightly from 7:30 pm to 9:45 pm.
Rooted Theatre Co. presents a new farm-focused drama performance, “The Harvest” by Jason Pyette, at Zootown Arts Community Center in Downtown Missoula – stage performances nightly Thursday at 7:00 pm thru Saturday and a 2:30 pm matinee performance Saturday.
The Gravy Ladles will be pouring live music on the outdoor patio at Cranky Sam Public House Friday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
The Bartender’s Tale, a play by the Hamilton Players will have performances Friday and Saturday from 8:00 pm to 10:15 pm and Sunday matinee from 2:00 pm to 4:15 pm at the Hamilton Players Performance Art Theater.
Roll out the classic car for the Show N Shine in the Swan Car Show at Hungry Bear Bar and Grill in Condon Saturday beginning at 8:00 am. And – you can go Cruisin’ The Flathead with Mission Valley Cruisers beginning at Bayside Riser Coffee in Polson at 8:00 am.
Western Montana’s farmers markets are in full swing for the season. Missoula alone has five Saturday markets, and with the rest of the area bustling with fresh local markets every day of the week and weekend. Missoula Pet Fest promises a fantastic, fun-filled day with your furry friends at Caras Park in Downtown Missoula Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Check out the Cars at the Daly Mansion Classic Car Show in Hamilton Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
We just LOVE buses! Especially snow buses that take us to the slopes. And when our Venn diagrams includes Fifteen breweries, two food trucks, and live music at the Summer S.N.O.W. Bus Brewfest at Depot Park in Whitefish Saturday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Sapphire Lutheran Homes in Hamilton hosts performances of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, with “The Tragedy of Hamlet” at 5:00 pm Saturday; and “The Winter’s Tale” at 5:00 pm Sunday.
It’ll be a wild Saturday night at UM’s Washington Grizzly Stadium in Missoula when Tyler Childers’ Mule Pull ’24 Tour comes to perform with special guest opening Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
Justin Harris and The Pocket Aces are bringin’ the rockabilly tunes back to The Rustic Hut in Florence on Saturday night at 8:30 pm.
Outlaws & Lawmen will be playing country music classics at the Sunrise Saloon in Missoula Saturday from 9:30 pm til closing time.
Groove Solventless & Logjam Presents welcome Montana’s own country singer-songwriter Tanner Laws for a FREE live concert performance at the Top Hat in Downtown Missoula from 10:15 pm ’til closing time Saturday.
Up in Kalispell, country superstar Clint Black performs the 35th anniversary of his debut album “Killin’ Time” live on stage at 7:30 pm Sunday at the Wachholz College Center on the FVCC campus.
There are at least 70 local music shows of one kind or another in the area throughout the weekend – we have options!
No matter what direction you wanna get outta town, you can’t go wrong. Lots of summer weekend activities and events are happening not only around Missoula, but all the way up the Flathead and the Bitterroot valleys, east to Phillipsburg and Anaconda, and out west past Alberton. If you’re headed up to Whitefish and Glacier, there are some outstanding pit stops to make along the way.
Get out & enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages – they need your business! Try a new local brew! Support our local artists and vendors at the area farmers markets. Take the family for a summertime hike. Get out on the mountain bike. Catch a classic movie screening or a stand-up comedy night. Stretch that big brain at one of the local trivia nights. Sing your favorite karaoke song, or catch a live music show. Enjoy safely and responsibly.
