Welcome to SUMMERTIME! This weekend brings the Summer Solstice, and with it live music, outdoor events, and cool stuff to do, and we’re here to help. All the fun happenings around Western Montana are here with The MUG’s Weekend PICKS!
Downtown ToNight featuring the Missoula Makers Collective Market, food trucks and live music in Downtown Missoula; with expanded hours 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday Nights June thru August (live music starts at 5:30 pm). Tonight’s band is Moneypenny.
If you have a mountain bike, you won’t want to miss the Missoula MTB Coalition’s annual party race, the Mullet Classic team race at Marshall Mountain Park on Friday.
OPA Missoula! Enjoy a Mythos and all things Greek food, culture, music, dancing and fun at the Missoula Greekfest 2025 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church from 12 Noon to 9:00 pm Friday and Saturday.
Take the kids for a little spin around the universe seeing Gulliver’s Travels at Missoula Children’s Theatre with performances at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm Friday.
Get in, nerds! MisCon returns with a new location at the Missoula Fairgrounds with the theme “Hive of Scum and Villainy” featured all weekend with panels, speakers, games, art show, contests and film festival.
A good excuse for a short excursion would be the Summer Solstice Brew and Music Festival at Lake County Fairgrounds in Ronan 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday.
The summer farmers’ market season is in full swing, including Orchard Homes in Missoula, Columbia Falls and Ronan on Thursday, Polson and Saint Ignatius on Friday, and all the ones in Downtown Missoula, Hamilton, Kalispell, Stevensville, Arlee, and Hot Springs on Saturday morning. On Sunday, there are new farmers markets starting up in Columbia Falls and Ronan to check out.

The mother of all local arts & crafts fairs is the Missoula Summer MADE Fair, and it’s happening at Caras Park 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday.
The sights, sounds and smells of a 19th-century Montana mining town will come back to life during this year’s family-friendly Garnet Ghost Town Day on Sunday from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm.
We have around 60 live music events listed for the weekend – take your pick! It’s officially the summer patio season now. You can’t go wrong with seeking out any and all of the fantastic area rooftop bars and outdoor patios to soak in this fantastic balmy Montana weather.
No matter what direction you wanna get outta town, you can’t go wrong. Lots of summer weekend activities and events are happening not only around Missoula, but all the way up the Flathead and the Bitterroot valleys, east to Phillipsburg and Anaconda, and out west past Alberton. If you’re headed up to Whitefish and Glacier, there are some outstanding pit stops to make along the way.
Get out & enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages – they need your business! Try a new local brew! Support our local artists and vendors at the area markets. Take the family for a brisk outdoor hike – all the trails are waiting. Conditions are perfect just about everywhere for mountain bike riding. Summer fishing is at its peak. Catch a classic movie screening or a stand-up comedy night. Stretch that big brain at one of the local trivia nights. Sing your favorite karaoke song, or catch a live music show. Enjoy safely and responsibly.
