Farmers markets season is in full swing in Western Montana. You’ll find ’em here, and for a complete list of nearly three dozen in the area, check out our Western Montana Farmers Markets story posted recently on The MUG.
No matter what direction you wanna get outta town, you can’t go wrong. Activities and events are happening not only around Missoula, but all the way up the Flathead and the Bitterroot valleys, east to Phillipsburg and Anaconda, and out west past Alberton.
Get out and enjoy our locally-owned bars & restaurants with Montana grown / made food and beverages. Support our local farmers and crafts people. Catch a classic movie screening or a stand-up comedy night. Stretch that big brain at one of the local trivia nights. Sing your favorite karaoke song, or catch a live music show. Enjoy safely and responsibly.
Please confirm event details at the source before you go. Last minute changes are common, especially due to weather. With each event listing, we try to include a web page or event link with more information you can check for changes.

About Slightly Stoopid
The story of Slightly Stoopid, at its core, is one of brotherhood. It’s the story of Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, two musicians determined to succeed on their own terms, creating a multi-genre fusion of rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk. It’s the story of a duo that has not just survived, but thrived, as “brothers from other mothers”- keeping true to their authenticity, throughout two decades of relentless touring, and evolved songwriting. The duo has repeatedly created lasting artistic statements despite a music industry that too often prioritizes style over substance.
All concerts are held rain or shine. Be prepared for extremes such as sunshine, heat, wind or rain. All tickets are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation due to extreme weather, tickets will not be refunded.

Get tickets and more information here
About this event
The Lincoln Bike Rally started in 2014, with the Great Falls Harley Owner Group and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce to bring a fresh low-key event into a community that would support such an event. With much sorrow after a few years, they were no longer able to keep the rally moving forward each year and in 2019 the Tenacious Dames RC stepped in and started hosting the Lincoln Bike Rally calling it the Rally in the Valley and with the help and support of the community and other clubs the Tenacious Dames RC are excited to keep the Rally in the Vally for one more year!
In the past there were bike trick shows, bike parades, biker Olympic games and it has grown into bike rodeos, bike shows, vendors, poker runs and this year the Tenacious Dames is very excited to bring OverTime & Austin Martin music concert! This is an open event to all riders and bike models! Lots to do for everyone and tons of fun! Poker Run, Bike Wash, Concert, and more. We look forward to seeing you!

In the Blackfoot Communications Gallery
In Western culture, deserts are often mischaracterized as “wastelands,” devoid of life and value. Yet in fact, desert ecosystems sustain a rich tapestry of life, including plants, insects, animals, and of course the Indigenous peoples who have inhabited and stewarded these arid lands since time immemorial. These works celebrate the biodiversity of desert life and remind us of the inherent value of these lands, which are becoming increasingly threatened by human development and environmental degradation; occasionally even by products masquerading as “green” initiatives, such as industrial solar farms. It’s an issue that highlights the fact that technology alone cannot solve the environmental challenges of our time. It is up to humanity to collectively reassess and reinvest – practically, emotionally, and spiritually – in our relationship with the living Earth which sustains us.

1 Eisenhower Street SW, Ronan, Montana
Got an old song gathering dust in the bottom of your guitar case or in the piano bench? Total newbie and want to learn more about the songwriting process? Here’s your chance to wake up your inner songwriter!
Workshop is FREE!
Workshop participants can expect to share their ideas and passions through the creation of original music. Although no songwriting experience is necessary, some students may wish to share an existing original composition with the group if they so choose. Please bring an open mind, an instrument to compose with (if possible), and one example of songwriting that you love (title and artist; can be performed or played on a recording – we have Bluetooth capability on site).
Light refreshments will be provided.
After the workshop, we’ll take a break and come back together for a Songwriter’s Showcase at 6 p.m. featuring Doug Ruhman and Joel McColl. Workshop participants are invited to share their songs during the showcase.
